Why Coding?

From self-driving cars to robot-assisted surgery to social media, computer science is revolutionizing every aspect of our lives. Coding is a fundamental skill that children need to learn so they can lead this movement.

Analysing a problem, breaking down a problem into parts, sequential thinking and providing effective solutions is at the heart of computational thinking. Coding imparts logical and analytical thinking, skills which are necesaary even outside the classroom.

From the telephone of the 1800 to today’s WhatsApp, people who have understood technology have been able to create some of the most amazing stuff we see around. Why not give this power to a child and see the magic unfold?

Research has shown postive correlation between coding and academic performance. Very simply put, if one has to code the addition of two numbers, he needs to know addition! This analogy extends to more complex concepts in Math and Science.

It is incredibly empowering for children to be able to explore, code and create projects and show them off to family and friends.It builds confidence and pride. Helps the children to build a strong career and make them successful in life.
